DETAILED ITINERARY
Option 1: For guests taking the sleeper bus:
- 11:00 PM on ... (the day before departure): Gather at 779 Giai Phong; 07 Pham Van Dong (e.g., if the departure date is April 17, guests will gather at 10:15 PM on April 16 for the sleeper bus). Arrive at the Border Gate. Guests arrange their own breakfast. 6:30 AM, the tour guide will meet guests at the Border Gate for immigration procedures.
The bus will pick up guests at the designated meeting point in Hanoi and depart for Lao Cai Border Gate.
Option 2:
- Private Transport: For guests not taking the sleeper bus, the company will offer a refund of 400,000 VND/person, and guests must arrive at the border gate at the scheduled time.
DAY 1: LAO CAI – HAKOU – MILE (Lunch/Dinner)
- 7:00 AM: The group arrives at Lao Cai border gate, completes immigration procedures to enter Hekou, China.
- 11:00 AM: The group has lunch in China, then proceeds to Hekou railway station to check in for the train.
- 01:30 PM: The group boards the train to Dali – with a transfer at Honghe station.
- 08:00 PM: The group arrives in Dali – has dinner at a restaurant and then checks into the hotel for rest.
Free time to explore Dali Ancient City at night.
Guandu Ancient Town Kunming
DAY 2: DALI – ERHAI LAKE – SANTORINI – LIJIANG
- 9:00 AM: The group checks out of the hotel and then proceeds to a restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, the group moves to visit Erhai Lake. Dali residents in particular and Yunnan people in general are very proud of this lake; being far from the sea, this large lake is respectfully called "the sea." The water in the lake is emerald green, so when viewed from above, the lake resembles a jade gem. Every year, many bird species come to reside at the lake, making the scenery even more vibrant and attractive to visitors.
Visit Santorini – "Miniature Mediterranean" version, with views overlooking Erhai Lake (self-funded drinks if you wish to check in with panoramic views from the restaurant).
- 11:00 AM: The group moves to a restaurant for lunch.
- 01:00 PM: The group boards the bus to visit Shaxi Ancient Town, located between the Dali scenic area and Lijiang Ancient City. Recently, the fairy-tale film "Meet Yourself" starring Liu Yifei became famous and also made an ancient town – Shaxi Old Town – famous.
- 03:00 PM: The group boards the bus to Lijiang.
- 05:30 PM: The group arrives in Lijiang, checks into the hotel for rest.
- 06:30 PM: The group moves to a restaurant for dinner. After dinner, the group is free to explore Lijiang at night. Visit Lijiang Ancient Town at night with its colorful and sparkling beauty. This place is visited by many young people. Only by coming to Lijiang Ancient Town can one fully appreciate its fairy-tale beauty, truly deserving its reputation as one of the four most beautiful ancient towns in China.
Overnight in Lijiang.
DAY 3: LIJIANG – JADE DRAGON SNOW MOUNTAIN – BLUE MOON VALLEY – IMPRESSION LIJIANG SHOW
(Breakfast – Lunch)
- Morning: The group wakes up for breakfast, then the bus picks up the group to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
- 8:30 AM: The group arrives at the cable car station, receives cable car tickets to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The group receives tickets to take the cable car up to an altitude of 3,200m, admiring the majestic mountain at Ganhaizi Meadow.
The name "Jade Dragon" originates from the 13 snow-capped peaks that stretch endlessly like a "dragon" flying above the clouds.
- 10:30 AM: The group moves to Blue Moon Valley for sightseeing. When talking about Lijiang, people often think of ancient towns, castles, and ancient temples. However, few know that Mother Nature has also bestowed upon this land a beautiful moon valley. Blue Moon Valley is a small valley located at the foot of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Under the sunlight, the moon valley appears like a jade-colored crescent moon, incredibly beautiful.
- 12:00 PM: The group rests and has lunch.
- 01:00 PM: The group has lunch at Blue Moon Valley. Afterwards, the group takes the bus to the large outdoor stage to watch the Impression Lijiang show live. The "Impression Lijiang" outdoor performance is one of four passionate musical dramas directed by the famous Zhang Yimou. If you have the chance to visit Kunming – Dali – Lijiang, tourists should not miss this musical drama.
- 03:00 PM: The group returns to the hotel for rest.
- Evening: The group is free to have dinner in Lijiang and explore Lijiang Ancient Town at night.
Suggestion: The group can purchase tickets to watch the LEGEND OF LIJIANG show – at a self-funded cost of approximately 320 - 380 CNY/ticket.
DAY 4: LIJIANG – BLACK DRAGON POOL PARK – KUNMING –
(Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
- Morning: The group has breakfast at the hotel then checks out. The bus picks up the group to visit BLACK DRAGON POOL PARK – the park was built in 1737 during the Qing Dynasty and named after an artificial lake shaped like a black dragon. From Black Dragon Pool Park, one can admire the majesty of the thousand-year-old snow mountain, in the peaceful setting of the calm lake water.
- 11:30 AM: The group has lunch at a restaurant then moves to the train station for the 12:55 PM train to Kunming, arriving at 05:05 PM.
- Afternoon: The group moves to the hotel to check in for rest.
- Evening: The bus takes the group to a restaurant for dinner – after dinner, the group is free to explore Kunming at night, visit Jinmabiji Archway or explore Nanping Night Market.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5: KUNMING – HAKOU – LAO CAI
(Breakfast – Lunch)
- 8:00 AM: The group wakes up, checks out of the hotel, and then moves to the hotel restaurant for breakfast.
- 8:30 AM: The group boards the bus to a Yunnan specialty shopping center in Kunming City – visit and shop here with a wide variety of rich and attractive goods.
Then the group visits Golden Temple Park, an ancient temple in Kunming City (during the seagull season from November to March every year, many birds come to avoid the cold, the group can visit Dianchi Lake and experience feeding the birds).
- 11:00 AM: The group moves to a restaurant for lunch.
- 12:30 PM: The group boards the bus to Kunming train station to check in for the train back to Hekou.
- 06:00 PM: The bus arrives in Hekou, the group completes immigration procedures to return to Vietnam. The tour guide bids farewell to the group. Guests will gather at the pickup point for the sleeper bus back to Hanoi at 08:30 PM. While waiting for the bus, guests can experience:
● Visit Thuong Temple – Mau Temple.
Thuong Temple and Mau Temple are two extremely sacred temples in Lao Cai City. Every year, during holidays and Tet, people from all over flock to set up ceremonies and worship. Thuong Temple has a very large area, located on Mai Linh Mountain. The temple was built during the Le Dynasty, dedicated to Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. The entire architecture of the temple follows the ancient "chu cong" style. To date, Thuong Temple has been recognized as a national historical and cultural relic.
Unlike Thuong Temple, Mau Temple has a smaller area. It is located right at border marker 102 between Vietnam and China. The temple was built in the 18th century, formerly a small shrine by the Red River. After many years of renovation, the temple has expanded to include 9 main altars. On the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month every year, people from all over eagerly come to the temple to participate in the ceremony to worship Mau De Nhat Lieu Hanh. If you come to Lao Cai, don't forget to visit and explore the impressive spiritual culture at these two famous temples!
- 06:30 PM: Arrive back in Vietnam, the tour guide bids farewell, ending the program. We look forward to seeing you on future tours.

The itinerary may change to suit actual conditions, such as traffic or weather, but all scheduled attractions will still be visited.

📌 THE TOUR PROGRAM MAY CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE ITINERARY TO SUIT TRAFFIC AND WEATHER CONDITIONS, BUT ALL SCHEDULED ATTRACTIONS WILL STILL BE VISITED.
📌 In cases where a client has undergone facial cosmetic surgery, it is mandatory to renew their passport. If the client does not renew their passport, the company will not be responsible for any immigration issues. All costs related to service cancellation penalties will be borne by the client.
Pregnant clients from 5 months onwards are not accepted on international tours for safety reasons (Clients registering for the tour are responsible for informing company staff if there is a pregnant family member; the company will not be responsible if the client fails to declare).
In cases where a client is denied entry/exit for personal reasons (blurred or unclear information/photos in original documents, expired passport, non-compliance with regulations, etc.), the company will not be responsible and will not refund the tour fee. The company's tour guide will assist and find the best solution for the client, with all incurred costs borne by the client.
The company will not be responsible for ensuring visits to attractions or compensating for any additional costs in the following cases: natural disasters, storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes, terrorism, protests, etc. Airline incidents: technical issues, security, flight delays, cancellations, postponements, or changes in flight times... damages due to delays by group members.
Overseas Vietnamese or foreign nationals who require a re-entry visa for Vietnam, please bring 2 4*6cm photos. If you enter Vietnam with a loose-leaf visa, please bring the visa and immigration declaration form when traveling.
If a foreign national client has a single-entry Vietnamese visa, please pay an additional re-entry visa fee of 1,100,000 VND/person and bring the loose-leaf visa along with 2 4*6 white background photos for customs procedures upon returning to Vietnam.
Clients holding only a green card (temporary residence card in a foreign country) and without a valid Vietnamese passport cannot register for a third country.
The price for children is calculated based on sharing a bed with parents. If you request a separate bed for a child, the full tour price will be charged.
Prices apply to clients aged 11 to 69 years old. Clients aged 70 and above will pay an insurance premium difference for a higher coverage level. Clients aged 75 and above must provide a health certificate from a competent medical authority confirming their fitness for international travel and must be accompanied by a healthy individual.
