Zhangjiajie: Often likened to a fairyland with over 3,000 sandstone pillars, it was the inspiration for the Avatar movie. It features a national forest park, Golden Whip Stream valley, and the Wulingyuan scenic area.
Phoenix Ancient Town (Fenghuang Ancient City): A 1,300-year-old ancient town situated by the Tuojiang River, preserving the culture of the Miao, Tujia, and Han ethnic groups with ancient houses built against the mountains.
Furong Ancient Town (Furongzhen): An ancient town over 2,000 years old, inhabited by the Tujia people, known as the "town suspended over a waterfall" due to its unique architecture.
03:30 AM: Bus picks up at the Hanoi Opera House, departs for Lang Son.
08:30 AM: Complete exit procedures at Huu Nghi Quan border gate.
11:00 AM: Lunch in Pingxiang, continue to Liuzhou.
08:00 PM: Arrive in Sanjiang, have dinner and check into hotel.
07:00 AM: Breakfast, depart for Phoenix Ancient Town.
12:00 PM: Explore Phoenix Ancient Town including:
Evening: Free time to explore Phoenix Ancient Town at night with sparkling lanterns.
10:00 AM: Depart for Furong Ancient Town - the town suspended over a waterfall.
Afternoon: Visit:
Evening: Return to Zhangjiajie, overnight stay.
Morning: Visit Tianmen Mountain:
Evening: Free time to visit Xibu Street or watch the "Zhangjiajie Eternal Love" show (self-funded).
07:00 AM: Depart for Liuzhou, visit Miaozhai Village:
Evening: Overnight stay in Liuzhou.
Morning: Depart for Nanning, free time for shopping.
11:30 AM: Lunch, continue to Huu Nghi Quan border gate.
03:30 PM: Arrive in Vietnam, bus transfers to Hanoi.
08:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, end of the journey.
